Eddy Barrows is a comic book artist who got his professional start illustrating children's books, school books and providing art for publicity agencies.
His first work in comics was a tie-comic of Stone Cold Steve Austin for the World Wrestling Federation, published under Chaos Comics. The series ran for a total of six-issues, but following its completion in 2001 Barrows took a hiatus from drawing comics citing that he felt he needed more practice.
In 2003 he returned to comics, drawing for the series G.I. Joe for IDW Publishing, becoming the series' official artist the following year.
In 2004 Barrows was hired on by DC Comics after submitting some test pages to the publisher. DC hired him to work on the series Bloodhound. From there, Barrows started working on the series Batman Villains: Secret Files and Origins in 2005.
He also worked on the three-issue miniseries Birds of Prey. Barrows then became a regular artist on the weekly series 52 and collaborated with writer Gail Simon on The All-New Atom.
Barrows also collaborated with writer Sean McKeever, serving as the penciller on Teen Titans for a year-long run. During this same time period, he also worked on Action Comics with writer Greg Rucka, DC's longest running title.
In 2010, Barrows became one of the main artists on the Superman family of titles like Man of Steel and Superboy.
