Karl Altstaetter
Karl Altstaetter started working in the comic book industry in the early nineties. His earliest published work came with working for Marvel, on titles such as X-Men and the Avengers.
He has also worked for both Image Comics and DC Comics. Some of his other titles include Vampirella, Bloodstrike and Battlestar Galactica.
He created his own publishing company called Hyperwerks Entertainment, which he not only manages but uses to publish his co-creations such as Saint Angel, Cat's Eye and the company's most popular title, Deity. Deity is a three-part miniseries, Deity: Original Series, Deity: Darkness & Light and Deity: Revelations.
Alstaetter has also been quite prolific in the toy industry, designing for Mattel, Spinmaster, MGS and Jakks. He has designed toy versions of Batman, Teen Titans Go and Jurassic World, among others.
